What to expect during your visit
Before The Table
To ensure the most comfortable and effective session possible, I ask that you shower, hydrate well, and have a light meal before arriving. Coming to your appointment well-nourished and hydrated helps your body respond optimally to treatment and minimizes any discomfort during or after your session.
Getting Here
A small private parking lot is available behind the building, accessible via Houlton Hill. Should the lot be full, street parking is available nearby, as is the park-and-ride adjacent to the Village Restaurant.
If you require a reserved space in our lot, simply note this on your intake form and arrangements will be made for you.
Welcome In
Our suite shares an entrance with NEKLS — upon arrival, enter through the door to your right, remove your shoes, and head up the stairs. Please be mindful of any classes or practitioners in session. You are welcome to wait in the dining area or along the benches by the railing, and I will come greet you at your appointment time. The restroom is to the right of the kitchen, and if you require elevator access, simply note it on your intake form and I will make arrangements.
Your Time on the Table
We will begin by reviewing your intake form together and discussing the goals for your session. I will walk you through the areas we plan to address so that you feel fully informed and at ease.
I will then step out to allow you to undress to your personal comfort level and settle onto the table. After giving you a few quiet moments to relax and take a few deep breaths, I will knock before re-entering the room.
Your Voice Matters
Your comfort and well-being are at the heart of everything we do. At any point during your session, you are warmly encouraged to communicate your preferences — whether that means adjusting pressure, modifying draping, changing body positioning, addressing different areas, or regulating the table temperature. Open, ongoing communication is the foundation of your healing experience, and your voice is always welcome.
The Final Touch
Payment is collected before your session begins, so that when your time on the table comes to a close, there is nothing left to tend to but yourself. You are free to transition back into your body slowly, without the interruption of transaction or the expectation of gratuity — my pricing is thoughtfully set to reflect the full value of the work, so that your experience can be complete, unhurried, and entirely your own.
Cancellation
We understand that life happens. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice so that the time may be offered to another client.
Cancellations made outside of the 24-hour window are always free of charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment may be subject to a 50% service fee if the appointment time cannot be filled — however, this fee is always waived in the event of illness or emergency. Your health and wellbeing come first, always.
No Show
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you — and that time, on both sides of the table, is precious. In the event of a no show, the full service fee will be charged.
Same Day Booking
Same day and late notice bookings are available exclusively to established clients. If you are in need of care and would like to request an appointment within 24 hours, please reach out directly by emailing me directly at bea@moonhoneymassage.com so I may accommodate you.
Client Expectations
To foster a safe, respectful, and healing environment for all, clients are asked to:
Arrive on time and ready for your scheduled appointment.
Be clean and free of heavy fragrances prior to your session.
Communicate your needs, preferences, and expectations before and throughout your treatment.
Arrive free from the influence of alcohol or substances.
Maintain respectful and appropriate conduct throughout the duration of your session.
Clients are always welcome to adjust or withdraw consent at any time, and may end their sess
Massage Therapist Commitment
In return, you can expect the following from me:
Sessions will begin and conclude on time, honoring your schedule.
I will maintain cleanliness and be free of heavy fragrances.
Your preferences, comfort, and boundaries will be respected and honored without question.
All treatments will be conducted with the highest standards of safety and therapeutic care.
Session Termination Policy
I reserve the right to end a session early in circumstances involving client cleanliness or inappropriate conduct. In the event a session is discontinued due to cleanliness concerns, the session deposit will be forfeited and any completed session time will be billed at $2 per minute. In the event of inappropriate behavior, the full session rate will be charged and the client will no longer be eligible to rebook future appointments.
